I’m writing this blog as an on-line spiritual journal.
I won’t call it a ‘Book of Shadows’, for the same reason I won’t call it a Bible – the phrase ‘Book of Shadows’ feels intrinsically linked with a path I don’t follow.
Mostly, I’ll use the blog to archive things I find interesting – articles, music, podcasts and videos (a major advantage over my paper journal) – as well as musings, ideas, recipes and techniques I want to try. The purpose behind this wanton appropriation of ideas is to feed into my practice and to try to find the path already beneath my feet.
If you’re reading this, that’s fine – if I wanted privacy, I’d have this on a memory stick – and I hope you find something useful, but please don’t expect coherence, logical progression or even regular updates. Comments, discussion and debate is cheerfully welcomed – how else are we to grow our ideas if they are never called into question?
A great blog! I would like to link yours to mine. Perhaps we can help one another generate traffic.
Thank you for the kind offer.
I will happily link to you, but I rarely post my original thoughts, because they often don’t feel that well formed (your posts on Judeo-Christian mythology puts my occasional musing to shame).
I’m definitely going to follow your blog; I look forward to more insight from you in the future.
